Bikes, Routes & Rides
Ready to go? But not sure where to start?
First you need a bike! If you don’t have one or would like to try different types and styles, borrow a bike from the Hub Cycle program of Partners for Active Living! Hub Cycle is a community bicycle lending program that offers a bike, helmet, and lock for any adult to borrow for up to three months. A $15 deposit is required and is returned when the bike and helmet are returned. Visit the Hub Cycle web page to find out more!
Second you need a route or a ride! Spartanburg has excellent bicycling opportunities for every level of bicyclist. Group rides are highly recommended. They offer an extra level of safety for each rider, in addition to making it more fun for everyone. Whether you are already an avid cyclist or someone who simply wants to give it a try, there’s a ride and a route for you.
