Numerous volunteer opportunities are available to help make Spartanburg a more bicycle-friendly place. Please let us know if you are interested in helping in any of the following ways:
- Be a “bike mentor” for a beginner level rider or someone new to bicycle commuting
- Lead bicycle skill and safety classes for children or adults
- Assist in repairing or painting used bikes through the Hub Cycle program
- Donate a used bike to the Hub Cycle community bicycle lending program
- Lead community bike rides – of any length or difficulty level
- Identify and map safe bicycling routes
- Organize your community or neighborhood to advocate for more bicycle-friendly streets in your area
- Install a bicycle parking rack at your business or store
- Organize a Bike to School Day event at your child’s school
- Volunteer as event support at Bike Month activities, including the Spartanburg Regional Classic
